DKV Euro Service Benelux celebrates 30th anniversary

Noordwijkerhout, 8 January 2018. DKV Euro Service, internationally prominent service provider for over 80 years in logistics and transport by road, launched the festivities surrounding the 30th anniversary of its Netherlands branch today. It is from here that DKV organises and provides its services for the benefit of haulage and coach firms in the Benelux countries, the United Kingdom and Ireland. The team charged with this region is composed of 40 persons who provide services to over 12,000 companies. DKV Euro Service will be giving much attention to this jubilee year. In addition, the company will introduce its pan-European toll box (EETS-box) named DKV BOX EUROPE in 2018.

At the time of its founding in 1988 the services provided by DKV Euro Service mainly concerned providing fuel cards and solutions for European toll payments. By 2018 the service range of DKV Euro Service has been greatly extended by way of fully automated solutions for VAT and excise duty refunding and online reporting tools like DKV COCKPIT and DKV eREPORTING, a highly versatile analysis tool providing the customer 24/7 individual and up-to-date fleet information. DKV considers good customer relations as guarantee for success. In this respect the team includes members who are expert in varying specialist services like VAT-refunding and it has local teams in Belgium, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“We are proud of reaching this milestone and about the relations we have built over the years. Surveys that we arrange each year by way of an independent market institute indicate that, if so asked, 70.8 per cent of our customers would recommend us to others. There are customers who have been putting their trust in our products and services ever since the foundation of our branch in the Netherlands”, says Gertjan Breij, managing director of the Benelux office.

“We are among the companies that have relied on the services provided by DKV for 30 years,” says Dennis Jesterhoudt, Group Controller at Wolter Koops, international service provider in conditioned transports & logistics. “What is important for us is DKV’s large European network plus the simple fact that all solutions, including toll boxes, function spotlessly. The DKV team is truly aware and informed of all developments that occur in the world of transport, which accelerates proceedings in case of any questions we might have.“
