DKV Euro Service: News and press releases
DKV MOBILITY SERVICES Group publishes CSR report
Energy performance stable despite employee growth / ISO 14001 certification attained / Expansion of multi-energy services
The DKV MOBILITY SERVICES Group, which has its headquarters in Ratingen, publishes its third sustainability report today. It covers the market, environment, employees and society and can be downloaded from the DKV website.
ISO 14001 certification attained
Despite employee numbers growing by 4%, CO₂ emissions from the company headquarters had risen only slightly compared to last year. “To exploit further savings with respect to CO₂ emissions, relevant processes within the toll, fuel and vehicle services product areas are to be systematically assessed in accordance with ISO 14001,” says CSR Manager Linda Surrey. The company is certified in accordance with the international environmental management standard for its headquarters in Ratingen.
Expansion of multi-energy services
“We expect LNG and LCNG to become much more popular in the transport sector, in particular for long-distance journeys,” says DKV Marketing Director Ulrich Wolter. Accordingly, the supplier network of DKV in Europe will be substantially expanded to fulfil this need. In the field of electromobility for cars, the DKV portfolio already includes charging at home, at work and at public charging stations – in short: @home, @work and @public. The hybrid card DKV CARD +CHARGE, which has been available since 2015, offers access to 13,000 fuel stations and more than 10,000 public charging stations in Germany alone.
