DKV continues to expand Europe-wide charging network
DKV CARD +CHARGE now accepted at Has.to.be charge points in the D-A-CH region, Be Charge and Duferco charge points in Italy as well as Chargy charge points in Luxembourg
DKV customers who use the DKV CARD +CHARGE can soon recharge their electric car or hybrid vehicle at additional 4.500 charge points in the D-A-CH region, 2.000 charge points in Italy and 1.600 charge points in Luxembourg. A contract to this effect was recently signed between Charge4Europe – the joint venture of DKV and innogy – and the Italian Charge Point Operators Be Charge S.r.l. and Duferco Energia S. p. A. as well as with the consortium of the "Chargy" charging network in Luxembourg respectively and the European FullService Provider for the operation of charge points Has.to.be. As a result, the Europewide DKV charging network will soon rise to over 70,000 charge points in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy. In the medium term, it is to be expanded to become the largest charge point network in the whole of Europe.
“Entering new markets in the course of our ambitious growth strategy always requires significant efforts from a commercial, legal and financial point of view”, says Marco van Kalleveen, CEO of the DKV MOBILITY SERVICES Group. “This is why we are very happy to have successfully taken this very important steps in collaborating with key players to enter the Austrian, Italian and Luxembourg e-mobility markets”.
