Toll information for Poland
In Poland, a route-based electronic toll applies to all vehicles (buses, trucks, cars)> 3.5 t.
On October 1st, 2021, the ViaToll toll system was replaced by the new e-Toll toll system . For toll collection at e-Toll, it is necessary to swap out the previous Via Boxes and replace them with certified, satellite-based OBUs.

Guideline for trucks
DKV allows you to settle the toll in Poland on all sections of the toll road network, including all the sections that do not yet provide fully electronic toll collection:
- A1 from Danzig to Torun
- A2 from Swiencko to Konin
- A4 from Cattowitz to Cracow
It should be noted that different toll fees apply for the A1, A2, A4 and for the e-TOLL network.
Guideline for Passenger cars
This can be paid locally and conveniently using the DKV Card for cars (vehicles under 3.5 tonnes).
The use of an OBU is optional for cars. Only the viaBOX (for vehicles over 3.5 t) can be acquired and invoiced through DKV.
Payment
Payment of the toll is always from toll station to toll station.
Manual
Toll can be paid in cash, by credit card or DKV CARD at the toll stations (this does not apply for the “Electronic toll only” motorway routes).
Post-paid
In addition to payment by DKV CARD, toll charges can be paid with the DKV BOX EUROPE. Paying by toll box also allows you to benefit from a rebate system. Please contact your sales partner for more information about the discounts available on the various routes and how to apply.
