transport logistic 2019: DKV starts new platform solution DKV ECO TRUCKER

Integration into TomTom Telematics and STYLETRONIC telematics systems / Integration into Mercedes-Benz Truck App Portal in preparation / Further partners and products to be added successively

DKV ECO TRUCKER is a new digital platform solution from DKV Euro Service which offers to guide commercial drivers to the least expensive fuel stations in the most economic way, gives tips for economic driving – and makes it worthwhile to do so with a bonification programme. The scope of functions of DKV ECO TRUCKER can be configured flexibly to the requirements of individual partners and customers thanks to its modular architecture. A beta version of DKV ECO TRUCKER will be presented at the transport logistic trade fair in Munich by DKV Euro Service (Hall A6, Stand: 303) and its partners (TomTom Telematics: Hall A3, Stand 411/512; Daimler Fleetboard: Hall A6, Stand 201/302, STYLETRONIC: Hall A3, Stand 537). The market launch is planned for the fourth quarter 2019. Integration into the Mercedes-Benz Truck App Portal is in preparation.

Through the combination of modules for economic fuelling and driving, DKV ECO TRUCKER can achieve fuel savings of up to 15%. In addition, the platform also has a rewards programme to better motivate drivers and improve employee loyalty. The application runs on all navigation devices based on the TomTom Bridge series. These include the TomTom Telematics PRO 8270 / 8275 driver terminal and later the Daimler Fleetboard II. Telematics providers TomTom Telematics and STYLETRONIC have already integrated DKV ECO TRUCKER into their telematics systems. Preparations for extending its use to further end devices such as the secondary display of the Mercedes-Benz Actros and those of other telematics and solution providers are underway. “DKV ECO TRUCKER is a modular platform solution which we can configure flexibly to the technical requirements of our partners,” says Dr Hendrik Rosenboom, Managing Director of the DKV Group. In the next phase, the platform will be successively enlarged with further partners and products.
