The DKV BOX EUROPE, which will in future be used to settle all relevant tolls in Europe, has been approved for Austria. "We are very pleased that our EETS Box solution for the Austrian toll system has been approved by the Austrian motorway operator ASFINAG," says Jürgen Steinmeyer, Director of Toll at DKV Euro Service. "We have thus reached another milestone in the connection of all relevant tolls in Europe.
Our special thanks go to our customers, who supported us with a great deal of commitment during the test phase". Every part of the process chain was successfully tested - from the function of the DKV BOX EUROPE itself, its installation and behaviour in operation, to correct data transmission and billing. In the meantime, Germany and Belgium have also been connected. France, Spain, Portugal, Liefkenshoektunnel (Belgium), Warnowquerung (Rostock) and Herren Tunnel (Lübeck) are expected to follow from autumn 2019.
